In this unit you will study about the Multiplication principle, permutations, combinations and Binomial Theorem.

Evaluate the following:
i)6!
ii)5! + 2!
iii)6!/4!

Answer

1)6! = 6 × 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1 = 720

2)5! + 2! = (5 × 4 × 3 × 2 × 1) + (2 × 1) = 120 + 2 = 122

3)6!/4! = (6×5×4×3×2×1)/(4×3×2×1) = 720/24 = 30
