  • The 'amalguzar' was the chief revenue collector in charge of a district and was assisted by a large subordinate staff. 
  • The other officials were, the 'Qanungo' who kept revenue records, the 'Bitikchi’ or accountant and the 'Potdar' or district treasurer.
