•History is one of the subjects which is not hierarchically structured. We do not need to know all the concepts before some time of history, to know about a particular concept.

•E.g. If we want to learn about the Independence movement of India, we do not need to know the ancient history of India i.e. about Mughals or Ashoka etc.
