The four main guidelines of the WTO are

  • Trade without discrimination
  • Predictable and growing market access
  • Promoting fair competition
  • Encouraging development and economic reforms.


The main concerns of the WTO relate to :

  • Market Access,
  • Reduction of Tariff Levels,
  • General Agreement on Trade in Service (GATS),
  • Trade-Related Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) and Trade- Related Investment Measures (TRIMS).
