It has already been mentioned that Fundamental Rights justiciable but the Directive Principles are not justiciable, which means a person can go to the Court of law against the violation of Fundamental Rights but not for the violation of Directive Principles. However, the Constitution clearly provides that Directive Principles are fundamental in the governance of the country and it shall be the duty of the State to apply these principles in making law. The Judiciary in India has taken due notice of this provision and tried to struck a proper balance between fundamental Rights and Directive Principles of State Policy.
